DERMAL FILLERS
Dermal fillers treatments helping to visibly reduce the signs of ageing
As we age the natural hyaluronic acid produced by our body’s
decreases, leading to deep lines, wrinkles and volume loss in the face.
Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers work in a similar way to the body’s natural hyaluronic acid, by attracting water to restore, enhance and refresh a youthful-looking appearance.
At Sudara Medical Aesthetics we use Juvederm hyaluronic acid
facial fillers.
Juvederm provide a versatile range of dermal fillers to allow
each treatment to be individually tailored to the client’s unique needs
ensuring a natural, youthful appearance.
Juvederm hyaluronic acid fillers are fully FDA approved and CE marked, with a proven safety and tolerability profile, making them one of the leading brands across the world.
To maximise your comfort, we use a topical numbing cream, as well as using dermal fillers which are pre-mixed with lidocaine. Depending on
the area being treated, we will use a needle and cannula to achieve safe, natural looking results.
Treatments last between 9 – 24 months depending on Juvederm product used and area being treated.
See below for the different treatment options.

Nasolabial Folds and Marionette Lines

The nasolabial fold is the crease extending from wing of your nose, downwards, in either a straight or convex line, towards the corner of your mouth. These creases are present in youth, however, tend to become more prominent with age due to volume loss in the mid face, causing the cheeks to look heavier and creases appear deeper.
Marionette lines are the creases extending downwards from
the corner of your mouth towards the lower face. Unlike nasolabial folds, these creases are not present in youth and tend to become noticeable in people in their forties.
Nasolabial folds and Marionette lines can be treated in isolation. This is done by administering dermal filler, directly into these line which will reduce depth of the crease and improve light reflection, however these creases are the symptom of volume loss in the midface.
Therefore, in some cases check enhancement with dermal filler may be advised to treat the cause of midface volume loss, which is the structural changes in the mid face.
